Here is a simple formula that if followed will guarantee you two pounds of FAT LOSS in the next seven days!
If One Pound of Fat Equals 3500 Calories Then....
If one pound of fat is made up of 3500 calories then understanding how to lose two pounds of fat becomes easy. Losing fat comes from putting your body into a calorie defecit. Plain and simple; you need to burn more calories in a day then you eat.
So in order to lose two pounds of fat over the course of seven days; this is what you have to do.
Note: these caloric numbers are rounded numbers- not what you need to eat and burn individually.
With that, let's say we have you burning 2500 calories through your dailiy activites and exercise (very achievable goal) and you are eating 1500 caloreis per day.
If you burn 2500 and eat 1500 that puts your body in a daily caloric defecit of 1000 calories. If you do that over the course of a week that means at the end of the week you are in a caloric defecit of 7000 calories.
Knowing there are 3500 caloreies in every poound of fat on our bodies, if you burn 7000 calories more than you eat over the course of a week; guess what-yep you just lost two pounds of fat. And, yep that is how simple it is.
